Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Project Detailer to perform detailed quantity takeoffs, material analysis, constructability reviews, and project detailing for high-voltage substation projects.

This fully remote role supports preconstruction, estimating, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure accurate budgets and successful bids. The candidate will develop material quantities, labor assumptions, and constructible design details while coordinating with multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
3–7 years of experience in: Electrical construction, High-voltage substations.
Experience with utility infrastructure and industrial electrical projects.
Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency with Estimating software platforms and Autodesk Revit.
Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings and bid documents.
Develop material quantity reports and BOM summaries.
Coordinate with estimating, procurement, and engineering teams for constructability reviews.
Create procurement-ready material lists and track material requirements.
Assist with project budgeting, change orders, and field revisions.
Support project turnover and closeout documentation.
