Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Project Detailer to perform quantity takeoffs, material analysis, constructability reviews, and project detailing for high-voltage substation projects.

This fully remote role supports preconstruction, estimating, procurement, engineering, and operations teams to develop accurate quantities and BOMs. Responsibilities include interpreting multi-discipline drawings, coordinating revisions, creating procurement packages, and assisting with budget tracking

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in electrical construction and high-voltage substations.
• Familiarity with EPC and utility project delivery methods; strong documentation and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Quantify major substation components (foundations, structural steel, grounding, bus, conduits, cables, terminations).
• Develop material quantity reports and BOM summaries; verify scope and identify gaps/cost impacts.
• Create material tracking documents and procurement packages; coordinate revisions and document control.
• Assist with budget tracking, change orders, and quantity reconciliation.
