Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Project Detailer to perform detailed quantity takeoffs, material analysis, constructability reviews, and project detailing for substations. This role supports preconstruction, estimating, procurement, engineering, and operations by developing accurate material quantities and BOMs for bids and budgets.

The position is fully remote; location details will be discussed in interview.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3 to 7 years in electrical construction or high-voltage substations, utility infrastructure, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience in estimating or detailing roles with proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Excel.
• Familiarity with EPC/utility project delivery methods and major estimation tools.

Responsibilities

• Estimating & quantity takeoffs from drawings, specs, and bid documents.
• Develop BOM summaries and material quantity reports.
• Assist in constructability reviews and identify scope gaps.
• Create material tracking and procurement packages.
• Support budgeting, change orders, and field verification.
