Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Project Detailer for remote work to perform detailed quantity takeoffs, material analysis, and constructability reviews for substation projects. You will support estimating, procurement, engineering, and operations with accurate BOMs and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–7 years in electrical construction and high-voltage substations.
• Experience with estimating or detailing roles and multiple construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings, specs, and bid documents.
• Develop material quantity reports and BOM summaries.
• Verify scope completeness and identify design gaps and cost impacts.
• Assist in labor units, productivity, and installation durations.
• Develop construction detail drawings and project layouts.
• Interpret electrical, structural, civil, and protection & control drawings.
• Create material tracking documents and procurement packages.
• Coordinate drawing revisions and document control.
• Support engineering with design reviews and field revisions.
• Generate procurement-ready material lists.
• Review vendor quotations and verify scope alignment.
• Assist with budget tracking, quantity reconciliation, and change orders.
• Review field reports and as-built information for quantity validation.
