Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Hungarian Over-the-Phone Interpreters to support a USCIS contract. This is a remote position with secure, telephonic interpretation for officers, applicants, and stakeholders.

Qualifications include native or near-native Hungarian and English, 2+ years of immigration interpretation experience, strict confidentiality, and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency eligible for Tier 3/5 clearance. Competitive pay and paid training offered.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Hungarian and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, asylum, government preferred).
• Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and neutrality standards.
• Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Hungarian-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.
• Interpret with accuracy, impartiality, and cultural sensitivity in immigration contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with USCIS/DHS interpreter ethics standards.
• Manage both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge interpretation calls.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and QA audits
