Job summary

TELUS Digital is seeking a Human-AI Interaction (HAI) & UX Specialist to refine multi-turn conversations and move AI from a tool to a partner by optimizing user trust and handling of dialogue. You will study friction between human intent and machine response, shaping empathy, personality, and logic in AI interactions.

This remote role emphasizes global collaboration, diverse user engagement, and cutting-edge evaluation methods in AI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, UX Research, or Behavioral Economics.
• C2+ level proficiency in your primary language.
• English proficiency: B1 or higher for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conversational UX Auditing: Analyze the flow of multi-turn interactions to ensure the AI maintains state, reduces cognitive load, and provides concise, actionable answers.
• Trust & Calibration Analysis: Identify overconfidence or excessive caution and refine the calibration of trust.
• Persona & Tone Synthesis: Develop and test specialized personas to ensure tone-alignment across industries.
• Accessibility & Inclusivity Design: Evaluate handling of diverse speech patterns and accessibility needs for global users.
