Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to develop, manage, and distribute safety policies for the Corporate Safety and Risk Department. This remote role involves travel to client sites across a multi-state western U.S. territory with approximately 12 travel days per month.

You will lead HSE programs, review policies, coordinate training, and provide regulatory support. A strong background in OSHA standards and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience in HSE management.
• Minimum 3 years in health, safety, and environmental management with focus on HSE program management, OSHA, safety & health.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety standards, regulations, and applicable laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety data reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE programs across operations ensuring alignment with regulations.
• Develop, manage, and review safety policies and procedures.
• Roll-out safety policies in collaboration with HR, IT, training teams.
• Coordinate safety training including new hires and refresher courses.
• Support safety content development for internal apps and communications.
• Participate in regional safety meetings and present initiatives.
• Provide regulatory guidance to employees and leadership.
• Conduct site assessments and incident investigations as needed.
• Support OSHA/MSHA record-keeping and data reporting.
