Job summary

CIEE is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to support HRIS, payroll, compensation, and reporting processes. The role emphasizes accuracy, discretion, and cross-functional collaboration across a global team.

You will work with Excel, payroll systems, and HR data to drive effective HR operations. Remote work options are available for the USA or Canada, with a focus on delivering reliable HR solutions in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 4 years HR experience; multinational experience preferred.
• Strong HRIS administration and data management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, XLOOKUP, PivotTables, data validation, and large-dataset analysis.
• Ability to manage recurring processes, deadlines, and confidential information with discretion.
• Experience with payroll and HR operations; ADP Workforce Now is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing HRIS data audits and maintain accurate employee data, compensation, payroll, and organization records.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc HR reporting and analysis.
• Support compensation programs including salary administration and annual processes.
• Support administration of sales incentive programs with documentation, payouts, and reporting.
• Serve as a resource for HR systems, payroll, compensation, and general HR questions.
• Handle confidential payroll and compensation information with discretion.
• Document and maintain SOPs, process calendars, controls, and backup plans.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity of employee records and org changes.
• Support payroll and benefits during high-volume periods and seasonal onboarding/offboarding.
