Job summary

Escalon Services is seeking an experienced HR professional to support our People Operations clients with payroll, compliance, and policy development. You will partner on HRIS implementations, benefits administration, and performance processes while working with a distributed team.

You’ll collaborate with clients on HR strategy, onboarding, offboarding, and risk mitigation. A strong client-service mindset and ability to manage multiple projects is essential in this remote-friendly, client-facing

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in a client-facing HR/People Operations role.
• Experience with payroll processing, compliance, and policy creation.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Proficient with payroll tools (ADP, Gusto, Paychex) and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR subject matter expertise to Escalon’s HR Operations client base.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with client business goals.
• Lead or partner on HRIS, payroll, benefits and performance systems.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, learning and policy creation.
• Support mergers & acquisitions due diligence and integrations.
• Manage client inquiries on payroll and compliance in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across payroll, finance and HR.
