Job summary

Texas A&M AgriLife is seeking a Human Resources Specialist III – Employee Relations to support employee relations, investigations, and HR compliance across AgriLife entities in Texas. This role ensures policy adherence and provides guidance to managers on employment matters.

The position emphasizes confidential handling of issues, collaboration with CR/T9 and Ethics & Compliance offices, and ongoing training support for supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 3 years HR experience.
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with HR policies, investigations, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Employee Relations Manager with implementing HR and employee relations functions.
• Advise management and supervisors on performance, discipline, and terminations with discretion.
• Conduct impartial investigations and prepare documentation.
• Compile metrics and prepare reports for audits and compliance.
• Support training and guidance on HR practices and policy compliance.
