Job summary

Greatjob is seeking a Field HR Manager to align HR strategy with Midwest-based business units. This role is remote option with up to 50% travel, responsible for employee relations, policy implementation, performance guidance, and organizational design across designated units.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, and a SHRM background. Bachelor’s degree preferred; MS Office proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
• Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Provides guidance and input on organizational design, workforce planning and succession planning.
• Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
• Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
• Facilitates and support Leadership Talent Reviews.
• Ensures all company HR policies are applied consistently
• Maintains company organization charts and employee directory
• Partners with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
• Designs and implements employee retention strategies
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
