Job summary

A La C.A.R.T.E. Solutions - ALC is seeking an HR Manager Consultant to provide comprehensive HR support for clients across multiple industries.

You will collaborate with our CHRO - Client Services and various departments to deliver HR services, ensure legal compliance, and act as a trusted advisor to client organizations. This fully remote role requires adaptability to different client cultures and regulatory environments, with a focus on employee relations, policy development, talent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in consulting or professional services.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Expertise in California employment laws.
• Experience working with nonprofit organizations a plus.
• Proven HR consulting or generalist experience serving multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand HR requirements, challenges, and goals.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, and benefits.
• Develop tailored HR policies aligned with client objectives and legal requirements.
• Assist in policy implementation and compliance across client organizations.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and succession planning.
• Develop performance evaluation frameworks and support appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; support audits.
• Identify training needs and develop customized programs.
• Administer employee benefits programs and LOA/FMLA/STD/LTD requests.
