Job summary

Harvest Hosts is a fully remote, high-growth HR-led company seeking an experienced HR Manager to own the entire people function across the US and Europe. You will partner with leadership on strategy, oversee recruitment, payroll via Justworks, benefits, and compliance while building scalable programs for a distributed workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• 5–7+ years progressive HR experience with at least 2 years leading HR.
• Hands-on HR lifecycle experience: recruiting, payroll, benefits, comp, relations, compliance.
• PEO experience (Justworks preferred) for remote or multi-state workforce.
• Strong knowledge of US federal and multi-state employment law; UK/Europe exposure a plus.
• Experience building compensation structures and leading merit cycles.
• HR certifications preferred (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR).
• Proficiency with HRIS, Justworks, JazzHR, Lattice, and Google Workspace.
• Strong communication, coaching, judgment and data-driven decision making.
• Builder’s mindset in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Own all HR areas: strategy, operations, and partner to leadership for scalable programs.
• Lead Talent Acquisition, workforce planning, job descriptions, ATS, interviews, offers.
• Design onboarding/offboarding, manage separations and unemployment claims.
• Oversee payroll/PEO management through Justworks and related relationships.
• Own compensation philosophy, salary bands, benchmarking and benefits strategy.
• Lead performance management and coach managers on development and reviews.
• Act as trusted advisor for employee relations, investigations and confidentiality.
• Run engagement surveys, action plans, and culture programs for a remote team.
• Ensure compliance with US and international employment laws; own HR policies.
• Identify learning needs and build development opportunities.
