Job summary

Akumin is hiring a Human Resources Generalist for a full-time remote position based in the United States. The role supports mobile imaging and fixed-site oncology teams with day-to-day HR operations, policy guidance, and employee relations.

You will work with Payroll, Benefits, Leave Administration, Talent Acquisition, and HRIS partners to ensure accurate data and timely issue resolution. The position requires 3–5+ years in HR operations, knowledge of FMLA/ADA/FLSA, and proficiency in Workday

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in an HR operational role.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA).
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Act as initial HR contact for team members and managers on policy guidance, benefits inquiries, payroll issues, and development.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, Leave Administration, Talent Acquisition, and HRIS partners.
• Support managers with performance appraisals and disciplinary actions; assist with training.
