Job summary

Akumin is a leading outpatient radiology and oncology services provider hiring for a Specialist, HR Credentialling to join our onboarding team. This is a full-time, remote role in the United States.

The role supports pre-employment credentialing, background checks, drug screening, and vaccination scheduling for candidates and new hires. Responsibilities include coordinating with screening vendors, maintaining credentialing databases, and providing updates to recruiters and HR operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a human resource or clinical credentialling specialist role.
• Experience with pre-employment background checks, drug screening and medical services.
• Familiarity with radiologic technology certification boards.

Responsibilities

• Verify and confirm pre-employment background checks to meet target start dates.
• Order drug screens, medical services and assist with scheduling vaccines and tests.
• Provide credentialing support to candidates, hires, and clients for on-site clearance and policy adherence.
• Maintain credentialing data, primary source verifications, immunization records and TB documentation.
• Respond to audits and credentialing packet requests from clients and departments.
