Job summary

Lantana Consulting Group is seeking an HR Generalist to support employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle. This role reports to the CHRO and collaborates with a small HR team to deliver accurate, timely HR services.

The successful candidate will handle payroll through Paylocity, benefits administration, performance management, recruiting, onboarding, and HR reporting, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws in a distributed, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• Five or more years of progressive HR experience supporting managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters.
• Provide guidance to managers on development conversations, performance feedback, and corrective action.
• Conduct employee relations inquiries and workplace investigations with consistency and integrity.
• Administer payroll through Paylocity, including changes, earnings, deductions, and audits.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring and candidate experience.
• Coordinate training related to performance management and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Prepare and analyze HR reports and workforce data.
