Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Human Resources Generalist responsible for creating, updating, and applying HR policies in compliance with standards and laws. It reports to the VP of Human Resources and covers onboarding, payroll, benefits, and leave while enforcing policies.

The role includes training supervisors, maintaining HR documentation in SharePoint, and handling employee relations, transfers, and onboarding for new properties across our nationwide portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years HR Generalist experience preferred.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Trains new or promoted supervisors in HR systems within 10 working days.
• Keeps HR documents and links up to date in Sharepoint.
• Ensures managers have correct access to Payroll, ATS in the company PEO system.
• Assists with employee transfers and allowances in the PEO.
• Assists with background screenings and exceptions.
• Onboards new employees.
• Sets up new properties and offboards canceled properties in HR system.
• Handles internal customer service complaints.
