Talantir is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a fully remote, temp-to-hire role to support a 47-employee nonprofit. The position reports to the HR Manager and blends operational HR support with strategic partnership across the organization.

Key duties include employee relations, performance management, recruiting coordination, payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR reporting. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, ADP familiarity, and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of HR Generalist experience across multiple HR functions.
• Experience with employee relations, performance management, and recruiting.
• Payroll processing experience preferred.
• ADP experience highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, policies, and employment regulations.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees by supporting employee relations, answering HR-related questions, and helping resolve workplace concerns
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development planning
• Partner with hiring managers to support recruiting efforts, including coordinating interviews, assisting with candidate evaluation, and onboarding new hires
• Evaluate and improve existing HR processes and policies to increase efficiency, compliance, and overall effectiveness
• Review and update job descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect current roles and responsibilities
• Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee records, compliance tracking, and HR reporting
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling, documentation, and correspondence
• Develop and maintain HR databases and tracking systems to support reporting and workforce planning
