Job summary

YMCA of San Diego County is seeking an HR Generalist to support Community Support Services across multiple programs, including Childcare Resource Services and Youth & Family Services. The role partners with employees, supervisors and HR leadership to ensure policy compliance and fair treatment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two years’ HR experience or a related certificate.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operational and HR leadership to execute HR processes.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are administered consistently in the assigned area.
• Identify opportunities and implement HR initiatives.
• Assist with employee relations investigations and maintain objectivity.
• Assist in termination processes within the assigned area.
• Serve as a point of contact for HR questions from employees or managers.
