Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is seeking experienced Property Loss Prevention Engineers to conduct worldwide surveys. Engineers will work independently, performing evaluations and preparing detailed reports on high-hazard properties.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in risk engineering. The position is home-based, allowing for flexibility in scheduling and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial property risk engineering or loss control.
• Ability to produce clear and well-structured engineering reports.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive on-site evaluations of HPR and high-hazard occupancies.
• Prepare thorough engineering reports that align with carrier specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule site visits with property owners and insurance representatives.
