Job summary

BKF is seeking a Project Manager for Housing Element services to lead delivery and pursue 7th cycle opportunities in the Bay Area and LA metro. The role involves managing background analyses, site inventories, rezoning programs, and AFFH analyses, with a focus on equity and community engagement.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in community planning, with RHNA and public outreach experience, and a BA in a related field. AICP preferred; hybrid remote work is supported across regions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in community planning, focused on Housing Element preparation and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of RHNA methodology, site inventories, rezoning, AFFH analyses.
• Experience leading public engagement and communicating housing policy to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager on Housing Element updates from background analysis through HCD certification.
• Lead business development, proposals, and RFP responses for 7th cycle Housing Element opportunities.
• Coordinate public outreach, stakeholder meetings, and community workshops; ensure equity in engagement.
