Job summary

Premier Project Management is seeking a Project Manager for Hotel Renovations. The role leads capital renovation, repositioning, and Property Improvement Plan projects across a hotel portfolio, coordinating with ownership, brand representatives, architects, designers, and general contractors to deliver on scope, budget, and schedule.

Remote in the USA with extensive travel; reports to the VP of Construction Operations; 50% travel to active sites across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a construction/architecture/hospitality field.
• 10+ years of experience in hospitality construction or renovation projects including PIP execution.
• Experience managing multi-million dollar capital budgets across several concurrent projects.
• Knowledge of FF&E/OS&E procurement and brand standards compliance.
• Proven ability to manage general contractor and vendor relationships, including bids and contracts.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle execution of hotel renovation, repositioning, and PIP projects.
• Direct multiple concurrent capital projects; prioritize resources and timelines.
• Develop and manage budgets, scopes, and schedules; report variances.
• Select and manage architects, designers, GCs, and vendors via competitive bids.
• Ensure renovations meet brand PIP requirements and franchise standards.
• Oversee FF&E and OS&E procurement, logistics, and installation.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and punch-list walkthroughs.
• Manage change orders and mitigate schedule/cost risks.
• Prepare and present status, budget, and risk reports to ownership/executives.
• Ensure safety compliance and minimize disruption to hotel operations.
• Mentor project managers and coordinators.
