Job summary

Talently is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead hotel renovation and ground-up projects across the United States. This role requires frequent travel and operating in occupied buildings, coordinating with hotel ownership and brands to minimize guest disruption.

You will manage daily field operations, supervise subcontractors, maintain schedules, enforce safety, review drawings and submittals, and partner with Project Managers on budgets and closeout. Travel up to 100% is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Hospitality construction or occupied-building experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, quality control, and coordination.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 100% across the United States.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for hotel renovation and ground-up projects nationwide.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain productivity and quality.
• Maintain schedules, lead site meetings, and hit critical milestones.
• Enforce OSHA safety and company safety policies on site.
• Review drawings, RFIs, and submittals to resolve field issues.
• Perform quality control inspections and ensure brand standards.
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries, manpower, and access with stakeholders.
• Prepare daily progress reports documenting manpower, photos, weather, and delays.
• Support project managers with budgets, punch lists, and closeout.
• Build relationships with hotel management to minimize guest disruption.
