Taylion High Desert Academy is seeking an Ordering Specialist to manage homeschool materials ordering and coordinate with vendors and families to ensure timely procurement within policy and budget guidelines.

The role requires strong organization, excellent communication, and attention to detail. It offers remote work flexibility and collaboration with Accounts Payable and Vendor Specialists to maintain accurate records and improve ordering processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in ordering, procurement, or related roles.
• Experience in an educational setting or with homeschool programs is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with vendor management and inventory tracking software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process orders for homeschool students and families (materials, supplies, resources).
• Act as liaison between homeschool families, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth ordering processes.
• Track, review, and process order requests to ensure compliance with policies and budgets.
• Communicate order statuses, delivery timelines, and delays to families and staff.
• Resolve vendor discrepancies, damaged goods, or returns.
• Maintain detailed records of orders, deliveries, and budgets for homeschool students.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Vendor Specialists to ensure accurate documentation and payment processing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Services.
