Job summary

StarkMHAR is seeking a Homeless Hotline Specialist to perform phone-based intakes and enrollment for the Stark County Homeless Navigation system. The role supports HMIS, CES, and HCCSC processes while engaging underserved communities with compassionate, client-centered service.

The position offers health benefits, OPERS retirement, leave accrual from day one, and flexible scheduling with some remote work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in communication, social work or related discipline, or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in phone or direct interviewing of individuals is required.
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri 7AM–5:30PM with alternating Saturdays 10AM–2PM; may have alternative scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Handle intakes and enrollments for the Stark County Homeless Navigation system over the phone.
• Occasionally engage in participant-facing interactions and support HMIS/CES systems.
