Healthcare Provider Solutions is seeking an experienced home health coder with strong OASIS expertise for remote 1099 work. The role requires coding and OASIS review with multiple EMR systems and the ability to learn new platforms quickly.

Strong communication and independent time management are essential for success in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should hold BCHH-C or HCS-D, COS-C/COQS or HCS-O OASIS certifications, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and relevant licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have home health coding experience (cannot only be hospice).
• Must have coding certified (BCHH-C or HCS-D), and OASIS certified (COS-C, COQS or HCS-O).
• Minimum of 5 years of routine coding and OASIS review experience.
• Career coder focused on coding/OASIS at present and for at least the past year.
• Knowledge of more than 1 EMR system and ability to learn others quickly and work in them efficiently.
• Must have reliable high-speed internet and computer less than 3 years old.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have experience with EMRs: WellSky, My Unity, Axxess, Kantime, MatrixCare, HHMD, HCHB, Synergy, and DSL.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Teams and Outlook and screen share.
