Job summary

Healthcare Provider Solutions is seeking a RN or licensed therapist coder/OASIS reviewer for remote home health coding, with hospice experience as applicable. Must hold BCHH-C or HCS-D and OASIS COS-C/COQS/HCS-O certifications and have at least five years of coding and OASIS review experience.

Proficiency in EMRs such as WellSky, My Unity, Axxess, Kantime, MatrixCare, HHMD, HCHB, Synergy, and DSL is required.

Qualifications

• Must have home health or home health and hospice coding experience (cannot only be hospice experienced)
• Must be coding certified (BCHH-C or HCS-D), and OASIS certified (COS-C, COQS or HCS-O)
• Must have minimum of 5 year of routine coding and OASIS review experience
• Must be a career coder focused on coding /OASIS at present and for at least the past year
• Knowledge of more than 1 EMR system and must have the ability to learn others quickly and work in them efficiently and productively
• Must have reliable high-speed internet and computer less than 3 years old
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must have experience with EMR's: WellSky, My Unity, Axxess, Kantime, MatrixCare, HHMD, HCHB, Synergy, and DSL
• Must be able to use Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook and know how to screen share

Responsibilities

• Perform home health coding and OASIS reviews for remote/home health and hospice settings
• Work with multiple EMR systems and rapidly learn new ones as needed
• Communicate findings clearly to clinicians/clients and meet deadlines
• Maintain high accuracy and compliance with coding and OASIS standards
