Job summary

Kentucky Housing Corporation is seeking a Reporting Specialist I to coordinate HMIS reporting for HCA programs from a remote position based in Frankfort, KY. You will ensure data accuracy, generate HUD CAPER/APR reports, and provide training and support to staff and partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly collection of program and operational data from applicable staff.
• Review data inputs for completeness and accuracy, flagging discrepancies or missing information to the Data Quality Lead.
• Support data quality monitoring activities by running routine checks and validating submitted data.
• Provide basic guidance to staff on data entry requirements and data quality expectations, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Assist with implementing corrective actions and process improvements to address identified data quality issues.
• Maintain documentation related to data collection procedures and data quality checks.
• Develop, run and analyze reports according to HUD schedules to complete CAPER and APR reporting.
• Produce reports for department use and to keep executive leadership informed as needed.
• Utilize HMIS including extracting data for analysis and HUD reporting as directed by the Data Analysis and Systems Supervisor.
• Assist with HMIS committees and related HUD reporting tasks.
• Respond to agencies via partner portal; backup to System Admin as needed.
• Assist with annual PIT Count (K-Count) and Housing Inventory Count (HIC).
