Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a Citizen Assistance Specialist to support the Complaint Review Branch within the Auditor of Public Accounts. This role includes guiding casework, researching policies, and coordinating activities related to CHFS programs, with a focus on community-based services and permanency issues.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, three years of public service experience (one year in human services), and strong communication, research, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; three years of professional public relations or public service experience.
• One year of experience in a human services field or program.
• Master's degree with two years of related experience may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the public regarding complex issues and complaints about government services.
• Guide casework and coordinate programmatic activities related to CHFS program area.
• Research Cabinet policy and regulations and prepare referrals and responses.
