Job summary

Piper Companies seeks an Integration Engineer to support healthcare data solutions and system integrations. You will onboard data feeds, troubleshoot HL7 issues, and monitor data pipelines in production. The role spans development, deployment, and ongoing integration maintenance.

Required 1+ years in healthcare integration with HL7, plus SQL/Python exposure and strong communication skills. Remote, contract-to-hire position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of healthcare integration experience with HL7 v2 messaging; HL7 v3 experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting production data feeds and identifying issues across multiple systems and applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and support new customer data feeds, ensuring successful integration and reliable data exchange between healthcare systems.
• Troubleshoot production interface issues end-to-end, including investigation of HL7 message processing, data flow interruptions, and system connectivity concerns.
• Monitor integrations and data pipelines, develop alerting mechanisms, and maintain operational health of production feeds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to resolve interface issues and improve system interoperability.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain healthcare integrations while participating in on-call support and code review activities.
