Piper Companies is seeking an Integration Engineer to support the delivery of healthcare data solutions and system integrations. Piper Companies is seeking an Integration Engineer to support the delivery of healthcare data solutions and system integrations for a growing healthcare technology organization. The Integration Engineer will support production interfaces, troubleshoot complex data flow issues, and transition into full integration engineering responsibilities involving development, deployment, and monitoring of healthcare integrations.

Responsibilities of the Integration Engineer:

• Onboard and support new customer data feeds, ensuring successful integration and reliable data exchange between healthcare systems.
• Troubleshoot production interface issues end-to-end, including investigation of HL7 message processing, data flow interruptions, and system connectivity concerns.
• Monitor integrations and data pipelines, develop alerting mechanisms, and maintain operational health of production feeds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to resolve interface issues and improve system interoperability.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain healthcare integrations while participating in on-call support and code review activities.

Qualifications of the Integration Engineer:

• 1+ years of healthcare integration experience with strong knowledge of HL7 v2 messaging; HL7 v3 experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting production data feeds and identifying issues across multiple systems and applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with integration engines such as Mirth Connect; prior Mirth experience is preferred.
• Experience with SQL and Python; exposure to Databricks, JavaScript, CCDA, VPNs, TLS, and healthcare interoperability concepts is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

Compensation for the Integration Engineer includes:

• Pay rate: $40-$50/hour
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
• 6 Month Contract to Hire
