Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Integration Engineer for a fully remote role in healthcare data exchange and interoperability initiatives. This early-career opportunity emphasizes HL7 experience and strong troubleshooting, with collaboration across engineering, implementing teams, and customers.

You will support HL7 interfaces, including v2 ADT/ORU, and contribute to building, testing, deploying, and monitoring integrations across the healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare integrations and data exchange.
• Proficiency in HL7 standards and HL7 v2 messaging (ADT, ORU).
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for healthcare integrations and troubleshoot data feeds.
• Work with HL7 standards and HL7 v2 messaging to troubleshoot interfaces and ensure reliable data exchange.
• Gather requirements and assist with building, testing, deploying, and monitoring integrations.
• Coordinate with engineers, customers, PMs, and implementation teams on testing and updates.
• Monitor production integrations, configure alerts, perform root-cause analysis, and improve processes.
