Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an Integration Engineer to support healthcare data solutions and system integrations. You will help production interfaces, troubleshoot data flows, and grow into full integration engineering responsibilities including development, deployment, and monitoring of healthcare integrations.

The role requires 1+ years in healthcare integration, HL7 expertise, and experience with Mirth Connect.

Qualifications

1+ years healthcare integration experience with HL7 v2; HL7 v3 preferred.
Experience troubleshooting production data feeds across systems.
Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with integration engines such as Mirth Connect.
Experience with SQL and Python; exposure to CCDA, VPNs, TLS is a plus.

Responsibilities

Onboard and support new customer data feeds, ensuring successful integration.
Troubleshoot production interface issues end-to-end, including HL7 processing and connectivity.
Monitor integrations and data pipelines, develop alerting mechanisms, and maintain health of production feeds.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to resolve interface issues.
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain healthcare integrations while on-call support and code reviews.
