Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead healthcare technology and data integration projects. This role collaborates with technical teams and stakeholders from requirements through sprint delivery and completion.

The ideal candidate has a Business Analyst or Technical Project Management background, healthcare experience, and hands-on HL7 expertise. Remote work is supported, with preference for candidates on the East Coast near Columbia, MD.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in business analysis or technical project management.
Hands-on experience with HL7.
Healthcare technology or healthcare data experience.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and Jira.
Strong stakeholder communication and project coordination skills.
Ability to manage projects from requirements through completion.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate technical projects across cross-functional teams
Work with stakeholders to gather and document technical requirements
Manage Jira tickets and project status throughout the Agile/Scrum lifecycle
Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Track blockers, risks, and project deliverables through completion
Support healthcare interfaces and data integration initiatives
Coordinate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure successful releases
