Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Data Integrity Specialist I to join the Health Information Management team. You will analyze complex error scenarios in the Legal Health Record and Master Patient Index, resolving duplicates and overlays to reduce patient data issues.

You will work with multiple stakeholders to report errors, maintain accurate statistics, and ensure compliance with privacy laws. Remote/hybrid options may apply based on role and location.

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or equivalent and ability to analyze complex information with critical thinking.
• Preferred: 2-year Associates or 4-year Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred: RHIA/RHIT credentials or CAHIIM program enrollment.
• Epic EHR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily work queues and duties.
• Operate with proficiency in Epic EHR and related identity management systems.
• Complete time-sensitive error queues and patient information corrections.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Technical teams and external partners to report and resolve errors.
• Maintain quality statistics to meet productivity standards.
• Comply with HIPAA and all related privacy laws.
