Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Data Integrity Specialist I to uphold the integrity of the Legal Health Record and Master Patient Index. You will analyze complex error scenarios, perform patient data corrections, and collaborate with multiple departments to prevent duplications and improve data quality.

The role emphasizes PHI compliance, accurate statistics, and timely resolution of daily error queues within a fully remote environment. Prior Epic EHR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and apply critical thinking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work queues accurately and on time.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced functions of multiple patient identification systems used by Intermountain.
• Complete time-sensitive error queues and patient error corrections expeditiously.
• Coordinate with Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Technical teams and external partners to resolve errors.
• Maintain accurate statistics to support high quality and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations governing Protected Health Information (PHI).
