Job summary

The Data Integrity Specialist I at Intermountain Health supports the HIM team by ensuring the integrity of the Legal Health Record and Master Patient Index. You will analyze complex error scenarios, resolve duplicates and overlays, and report metrics to drive quality and compliance.

This fully remote role reports to the System Data Integrity Manager, participates with cross-functional partners, and requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of Epic EHR identity

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required; strong analytical ability.
Ability to analyze complex information and apply critical thinking solutions.
Experience with health information systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Accurately and timely complete daily work queues and duties.
Proficient in advanced functions of multiple patient identification systems.
Complete time-sensitive error queues and patient error corrections expeditiously.
Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Technical teams and external partners to resolve errors.
Maintain accurate statistics to uphold quality and productivity standards.
Comply with all laws and regulations governing PHI.
