Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Data Integrity Specialist I to join the HIM team, focusing on the integrity of the LHR and Master Patient Index. The role handles complex error corrections, duplicate resolution, and data quality initiatives to reduce duplications and errors across health information systems.

You will work with Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, and Technical teams to resolve issues, while maintaining PHI compliance and contributing to high-quality documentation and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to analyze complex information and apply critical thinking solutions.
• Two-year Associates or Four-year Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• RHIA/RHIT credentials preferred or CAHIIM accredited program ongoing.
• Epic EHR system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work queues and duties accurately and on time.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EHR identity and related systems.
• Complete time-sensitive error queues and patient data corrections.
• Report and resolve errors with Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Technical teams and partners.
• Maintain accurate statistics and ensure compliance with PHI laws.
