Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Data Integrity Specialist I to join the HIM team. The role focuses on ensuring the integrity of the Legal Health Record and Master Patient Index, analyzing complex error scenarios such as duplicates and overlays, and supporting data quality and patient documentation accuracy from a remote work setup.

The position reports to the System Data Integrity Manager and requires attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and experience with Epic EHR identity

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Ability to analyze complex information and apply critical thinking solutions.

Responsibilities

Complete daily work queues accurately and on time.
Demonstrate proficiency in advanced functions of multiple patient identification systems.
Expedite completion of time-sensitive daily error queues and corrections.
Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Technical, and external partners to resolve errors.
Provide accurate statistics to maintain quality and productivity.
Comply with all laws and regulations governing PHI.
