Job summary

HelioCampus is seeking a Technical Implementation Consultant to lead discovery, configuration, and validation work that brings our analytics platforms to life for higher education institutions.

You will translate institutional practices into data model configurations, deploy Tableau or Power BI dashboards, and manage multiple client projects with cross-functional stakeholders. A strong background in higher education data, SQL, and visualization is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years working with higher education institutional data.
• Deep knowledge of at least one functional area of higher education.
• Familiarity with major Student Information Systems (Ellucian Banner, PeopleSoft, Colleague, Workday).
• Working knowledge of IPEDS reporting and SQL fundamentals.
• Comfort with Tableau/Power BI and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with client offices to understand operation and exceptions.
• Own and document configuration decisions aligning data model with institutional practice.
• Run validation cycles and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate reports.
• Document client-specific business rules and provide handoff documentation.
• Provide data advisory input to product team and support post-implementation.
• Facilitate power user trainings and travel up to 10%.
