Job summary

Evisions Inc seeks a Professional Services Consultant to guide higher education institutions through mission-critical data and reporting initiatives, delivering technical solutions that align with clients' goals. You will work onsite and remotely with clients, turning requirements into dashboards, reports, and decision-support tools using SQL-based queries.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of MAPS and Argos Datablock/Report Writer experience.
• Higher Education industry understanding required; Higher Education ERP data understanding preferred.
• 1+ year of project management experience.
• SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL required; proficient with SQL Developer or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — finds solutions, not just workarounds.
• Excellent presentation development and delivery skills; comfortable engaging C-suite executives on strategic data and reporting needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate query development, documentation, and the preparation of client-facing content.

Responsibilities

• Engage and guide clients through discussions on mission-critical data and reporting initiatives; provide strategic recommendations.
• Work with client leadership to influence project direction and priority; earn trust quickly.
• Generate contract deliverables including Statements of Work and time estimates; scope work deliverables on time and within budget.
• Design dashboards, custom reports, and decision-support tools from client specifications.
• Develop database queries using T-SQL, PL/SQL, and ANSI/Oracle SQL; follow standards.
• Validate data accuracy and quality across all deliverables.
• Document and test deliverables and write internal procedures.
• Represent Evisions at trade shows and conferences; contribute thought-leadership content.
• Support Sales and other departments as needed; contribute expertise where value added.
• Use AI tools to accelerate query development, documentation, and client-facing content.
