Job summary

CEI is seeking a Back Collections & Accounts Receivable Representative: Call Center for a fully remote role. The position supports commercial collections in a high-volume call center, with customer accounts valued up to about $1 million. You’ll identify billing issues and facilitate payment or resolution.

Training lasts 2–4 weeks (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). After training, shifts run 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with two 15-minute breaks and a one-hour lunch.

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to investigate billing concerns and guide customers to resolution.
• Comfort working in a phone-focused, highly measurable call center environment.
• Ability to navigate eight billing systems and multiple software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls; majority inbound.
• Investigate outstanding balances and work toward payment or resolution.
• Research accounts across billing systems to resolve billing concerns.
• Manage a high-volume workload with 50–100 calls per day; 8–10 minute calls.
• Communicate with supervisor and teammates via Microsoft Teams; participate in coaching and evaluations.
