Job summary

WSP USA is seeking High Voltage Substation Inspectors for the Power Constructors, Inc. sector to support Fort Worth, Abilene or Waco, Texas locations. The role may be remote from mutually acceptable locations and may involve up to 100% travel.

You will inspect and document field conditions, verify compliance with plans and codes, and support engineers and project managers. Responsibilities include data collection, use of survey and test equipment, preparing technical reports, and guiding field

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 9 years of post-education experience in construction inspection.
• Licensure/certifications as required by the role.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze data from sites, plans, and reports for inspections.
• Perform field inspections on projects to verify conformance with plans and codes.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports with photos, drawings, and calculations.
• Assist with risk identification and project coordination with staff and contractors.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.
• Provide guidance and training to junior inspectors and field staff.
