Job summary

PURE Risk Managers perform independent risk assessments to evaluate complex property exposures and support underwriting and loss prevention strategies for PURE members. This remote role requires extensive travel across the Western United States, with candidates ideally near major airports in Las Vegas, Reno, Phoenix or nearby States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; relevant field experience is valued.
• 3+ years as a Risk Manager at an insurance carrier or related role with property risk assessment.
• OR 5+ years in high-value home construction, skilled trades, home inspection or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Western United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform PURE 360 Risk assessments across regions, evaluating property conditions, construction types and environmental factors.
• Analyze and interpret findings to assess loss probability and severity, and make recommendations.
• Recommend loss prevention strategies by identifying practical solutions based on risk impact.
• Assess property conditions and replacement cost considerations, identifying material risk factors.
• Partner with Underwriting and internal stakeholders to support risk selection and business decisions.
• Evaluate site conditions and risk factors for geographic and peril-specific scenarios.
• Travel regularly throughout the Western United States for in-home assessments.
• Communicate assessment results and rationale clearly to members and stakeholders.
• Represent the PURE brand in members' homes with professionalism and care.
