Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, epidemiology, health services research, or related field with 10+ years of professional experience in HEOR, medical affairs, managed markets, health plan, or pharmacy benefit management
  • PharmD, PhD, or MD with 7+ years of professional experience in HEOR, medical affairs, managed markets, health plan, or pharmacy benefit management
  • 3+ years of previous field-based HEOR experience with demonstrated excellence and leadership in the role
  • Strong understanding of study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation of HEOR and clinical data
  • Demonstration of leadership and influencing skills to guide senior stakeholders and manage teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with US payers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 60% (domestic and international)
  • Familiarity with payer decision-making processes and experience with CRM/reporting systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, mentor, coach, train, and evaluate field-based HEOR Liaisons with strategic pull-through
  • Maintain a panel of priority U.S. payer accounts and engage in scientific dialogue about products
  • Partner with market access stakeholders and track KPIs to adjust field activities
  • Represent the company at Medicaid meetings and conferences with data presentations
  • Attend meetings with Market Access directors to model best-in-class field engagement
  • Serve as a resource for internal stakeholders on HEOR data and landscape
  • Lead collection, synthesis, and reporting of U.S. payer insights
  • Develop HEOR strategic and tactical plans for products in development and in market
  • Guide payer value propositions and HCEI materials, incorporating new information
  • Partner with Medical Information to incorporate HEOR data into materials
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development plans with HEOR leadership
  • Contribute to strategic planning within Global Medical Affairs
  • Ensure field work aligns with UT’s mission and behaviors
  • Address unsolicited HEOR questions with scientific accuracy and compliance
  • Summarize competitor HEOR strategies for internal teams
  • Interview, select, and hire HEOR candidates
  • Oversee performance management for the team
