Position Description

This is a remote position. Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST

Proton Dealership IT, an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is seeking a customer-focused IT Helpdesk Support Technician. You will be the first point of contact for clients, resolving various technical issues promptly. Your role involves working directly with customers via phone, guiding troubleshooting efforts, and documenting issues and resolutions in Proton’s ticketing system.

  • Document problems, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
  • Replace failed hardware components in desktops and laptops
  • Troubleshoot networking devices including switches, routers, and firewalls

About Our Company: Proton Dealership IT provides IT support and excellent customer service to over 400 auto-dealership clients nationwide. We focus on maintaining a low-stress, high-fun, and high-quality work environment.

Training

On-the-job training provided.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years in an IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support role
  • IT certifications or relevant technical education
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory domains
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems
  • Expertise in printer, scanner, and wireless troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with networking devices and troubleshooting switches, routers, firewalls
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server products including Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, 2010, 2013
