Job summary

Nuvodia is seeking a Help Desk Specialist I - Clinical Applications to serve as the initial phone contact for clients. The role collects detailed information and prioritizes service requests to determine resolution or escalation paths.

Fully remote, regular full-time schedule with on-call duties. Responsibilities include providing remote and on-site support in a clinical setting, maintaining documentation, and installing radiology software like PACS and Voice Recognition.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required or preferred.
• 1 year of helpdesk experience or equivalent in a clinical/healthcare IT environment.
• Experience with workstation, network and cloud technologies; knowledge of radiology software.
• Experience supporting RIS, PACS, or Voice Recognition systems.
• Post-offer drug test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides remote and on-site technical support in a clinical setting as needed.
• Follows security guidelines as determined by industry and management.
• Maintains technical documentation for support, training, and analysis.
• Identifies areas for workflow improvements and configuration changes.
• Enters, prioritizes, and escalates service tickets via the ticket system.
• Interacts with customers by phone, onsite, and online to resolve software and radiology application problems.
• Responds promptly to customer needs and seeks feedback to improve service.
• Installs and configures radiology software packages such as PACS and Voice Recognition.
• Resolves general workstation issues related to OS, hardware compatibility, and software interdependencies.
• Monitors queue emails and provides coverage to meet departmental needs.
