Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a HEDIS Medical Record Analyst for a temporary 4-5 month assignment starting January 4th. The role focuses on retrieving, abstracting, and over-reading medical records to capture data elements for HEDIS reporting, across EMR/EHR systems.

The position is non-benefited and located in the Washington/Idaho/Oregon/Utah region per preference. You will document retrieval progress, communicate with provider offices, and ensure accurate abstraction of clinical data

Qualifications

Associate degree in Nursing or related field and 3 years of clinical experience in medical records/EMR.
Strong medical terminology and proficiency navigating EMR/EHR systems.
Knowledge of HIPAA and medical coding concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Retrieve, abstract, or over-read medical records for HEDIS data elements.
Document retrieval progress and findings for each EMR accessed.
Communicate with provider offices professionally and clearly.
Abstract specified clinical data elements for HEDIS reporting (e.g., breast cancer screening dates, lab results).
Document abstraction findings in appropriate tools and follow team policies.
