Job summary

AHU Technologies Inc in the United States seeks a Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead large-scale civil and bridge construction projects, directing planning, safety, budgets, and schedules to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will oversee subcontractors, manage procurement, maintain client relations, and mentor project staff while driving continuous improvement and profitability in a remote-capable role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Heavy civil and/or bridge construction experience required.
• Experience in construction management, finance, design, scheduling, and project management.
• Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager is preferred.
• Experience managing project budgets, purchasing, pricing, negotiations, and purchase orders.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documents.
• Experience developing subcontractor scopes of work.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Procore, and related construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan project activities and procure materials and equipment in safety-compliant ways.
• Lead safety meetings and promote a safety-first culture among field teams.
• Oversee budgets, labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Review project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and contracts.
• Develop schedules with site teams and monitor progress against timelines.
• Coordinate closeout activities and manage client communications.
