Job summary

Elite Surface Infrastructure, a growing Colorado construction company, seeks a Heavy Civil 3D Modeler to produce accurate 3D surface models for GPS machine control and layout. The role is primarily remote with occasional site travel; you will bridge design and field operations.

Requirements include a degree in construction or civil engineering (or equivalent), 1–3 years with 3D modeling tools like Trimble, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson Civil, and a strong ability to read construction plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in construction or civil engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years experience building 3D surfaces with listed software (Trimble/Carlson/AutoCAD Civil 3D/MicroStation/Terra).
• Experience with Trimble/Topcon/Leica machine control is a plus.
• Ability to read construction plans and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work with several departments to provide models and assist field crews.
• Ensure data accuracy and proper translation to equipment.
• Train field crews to operate equipment correctly and calibrate machine controls.
• Perform any additional duties as issued by leadership.
